Software updates

There is now a new colored (yellow) box on the wiki homepage, displaying a few recent software updates:

More precisely, "a few" is equal to five, and the five entries displayed there are extracted from the longer list available at: https://www.gdr-mascotnum.fr/software_updates.html.

You can contribute to this ongoing effort in several ways:

1) Indicate software updates (including new software) to be announced, by sending an email to gdr-mascotnum-software@services.cnrs.fr.

2) Help us write "bots" (scripts) to watch for updates of a given type (R packages on CRAN, Python packages on PyPI, github releases, etc.).

3) Suggest useful ways to improve this service.

Research School on High Dimensional Approximation and Deep Learning, Nantes 2022

We are glad to announce the research school "High Dimensional Approximation and Deep Learning" (HiDADeeL2022), which will be held in Nantes, France, from May 16 to 20, 2022. This school addresses the mathematical foundations of high-dimensional approximation and statistical learning, with particular attention to nonlinear approximation, model reduction, tensors and neural networks. The research school is intended for PhD students, young researchers and confirmed researchers interested in these themes. The school will feature four courses and invited talks given by experts in the mathematics of approximation and learning. Deadline for application is April 8, 2022.
