Journal on Uncertainty Quantification (JUQ)

The ASA and Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) recently recognized the needed synergy between mathematics and statistics to address major challenges at the interface of computer modeling of complex processes and data by embarking on a joint effort to create the Journal on Uncertainty Quantification (JUQ). The journal will be published by SIAM and initially led by the editorial team of Jim Berger, representing the ASA, and Don Estep and Max Gunzburger, representing SIAM. Read More...

Numéro spécial "Bayesian Computing, Methods and Application"

Un numéro spécial de CSDA (Computational Statistics and Data Analysis) intitulé Bayesian Computing, Methods and Application est en préparation. La date limite pour les soumissions est le 30 juin 2012.

Mise en ligne du n°4-152(2011) du Journal de la SFdS

Le Journal de la SFdS vient de publier le quatrième numéro de son volume 152 (2011).

On y trouve notamment un article sur l'Estimation de probabilités et de quantiles rares pour la caractérisation d’une zone de retombée d’un engin PDF (par Jérôme Morio, Rudy Pastel, François Le Gland) et des Réflexions sur l’analyse d’incertitudes dans un contexte industriel : information disponible et enjeux décisionnels (Merlin Keller, Alberto Pasanisi, Eric Parent).

A noter aussi que Philippe Besse a passé la main à Gilles Celeux pour le poste d'éditeur en chef de la revue.
