Research School on High Dimensional Approximation and Deep Learning, Nantes 2022

We are glad to announce the research school "High Dimensional Approximation and Deep Learning" (HiDADeeL2022), which will be held in Nantes, France, from May 16 to 20, 2022. This school addresses the mathematical foundations of high-dimensional approximation and statistical learning, with particular attention to nonlinear approximation, model reduction, tensors and neural networks. The research school is intended for PhD students, young researchers and confirmed researchers interested in these themes. The school will feature four courses and invited talks given by experts in the mathematics of approximation and learning. Deadline for application is April 8, 2022. Le GDR Mascot-Num lance un appel à projets 2021

 Le GDR Mascot-Num lance en 2021 un appel à projets afin de soutenir les initiatives de recherche en lien avec les activités du GDR.

L’aide allouée par projet est limitée à 1500 euros.
Elle pourra notamment être utilisée pour l’organisation d’événements (conférences, workshops, minisymposia, ...), le financement de missions ou séjours de recherche (pour écoles d’été, formations, participation à un projet CEMRACS 2021, ...).
Le GDR portera une attention particulière aux projets portés par (ou à destination) des jeunes chercheuses ou jeunes chercheurs, et aux actions favorisant les interactions entre les membres du réseau de recherche Mascot-Num.

Pour répondre à cet appel, vous devrez rédiger un court document (maximum 2 pages) contenant une description du projet de recherche et de son lien avec les activités du GDR Mascot-Num. Le montant de l'aide demandée (inférieur à 1500 euros) et sa destination devront être clairement indiqués. L'aide devra être dépensée en 2021.
