J'ai le plaisir de vous inviter à ma soutenance d’Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, intitulée "Contributions to the uncertainty management in numerical simulations: statistical methods for metamodeling and sensitivity analysis", qui aura lieu le jeudi 9 novembre 2017 à 14h00, au Département de Génie Mathématique et Modélisation de l’INSA de Toulouse, en salle GMM13. Projet CHORUS, ateliers de restitution

Bonjour,

Les 18 et 19 octobre se tiendront deux journées de conférence présentant les progrès réalisés grâce au projet de recherche CHORUS (Common Horizon of Open Research on Uncertainty in Simulations) qui touche à sa fin.

Les méthodes et logiciels développés par les partenaires du projet offrent de nouvelles perspectives pour la prise de décision grâce à la simulation numérique en tenant compte de diverses sources d'incertitudes.

A conference on "small data" that might be of interest to the MASCOT-NUM community:

The next Valais/Wallis workshop on Artificial Intelligence will be held
in Martigny at the Idiap Research Institute on November 10th 2017.

For this second edition, the focus will be on challenges and opportunities
of "Small data". This interdisciplinary event will gather speakers and
participants having to cope with small data with motivating applications
in environment and geosciences, medicine, energy engineering, robotics and
beyond.
