2014 working meeting about mixed data: May 16th in Paris

The 2014 working meeting organized by GDR MASCOT NUM will take place on May 16th at Amphithéâtre Hermite, Institut Henri Poincaré, Paris.This year's topic is «Handling categorical and continuous data» with 5 invited speakers and software demonstration.

Ateliers CHORUS "Apprentissage statistique et réduction de modèles"

Le projet ANR CHORUS organise deux journées de travail autour de la thématique des modèles réduits et de l'apprentissage statistique. Ces journées mélangent exposés scientifiques de type "lectures" et retour d'expérience de mise en application de ces concepts sur des cas pratiques. Elles auront lieu le 30 avril Atelier "Kriging and Gaussian processes for computer experiments" et le 28 mai Atelier "Statistical Learning & computer experiments". L'inscription se fait sur les pages du site du GDR MASCOT NUM.

Atelier CHORUS "A tutorial on Model order reduction..." ce jeudi 20/3

Un atelier sur le thème "A tutorial on Model order reduction for parametric analyses and uncertainty quantification with applications" est organisé ce jeudi 20/3 à l'IHP :

This workshop is organized within the framework of the ANR project CHORUS (“Common Horizon of Open Research on Uncertainty in Simulations”) whose objective is the development of methods and open-source softwares for uncertainty management in numerical simulations.

This workshop is a tutorial on model order reduction methods for the numerical solution of stochastic or parametric models, and more specifically on reduced basis methods and other low-rank approximation methods [read more...].

La soumission d'abstracts est encore possible pour la conférence UCM 2014, qui aura lieu du 28 au 30 juillet à Sheffield.

Date limite de soumission: vendredi 14 mars (demain) à minuit !

MASCOT-NUM 2014 : extended deadline for PhD students day

Dear Colleague,

The MascotNum’2014 meeting devoted to “Computer Experiments and Meta-models for Uncertainty Quantification” will be hosted by the Chair of Risk, Safety and Uncertainty Quantification at ETH Zürich (Switzerland) on April 23rd-25th, 2014.

 

The three-day annual workshop starts with the Ph.D. students day during which graduate students present their recent work in the field and compete for the MascotNum prize.

 

The call for abstracts is available at http://www.mascotnum2014.ethz.ch.

Extension of deadline: PhD students are invited to submit a two-page abstract by January 15^th, 2014.
